The Y-PLAN (Youth for Participatory and Localized Action in Neighborhoods) Erasmus+ project has officially kicked off!

On 30 September - 1 October, we gathered in Athens, Greece, at our partner Urbana’s inspiring space for the project’s official launch - bringing together all partners to shape the roadmap for empowering youth in urban transformation across Cyprus, Greece, Serbia, and Belgium. 🇨🇾🇬🇷🇷🇸🇧🇪

Coordinated by SocialTech Lab, in partnership with URBANA lab, OPU - Organisation for Positive Urbanism, Young Ambassadors, and Toestand vzw, the Y-PLAN project aims to:
🏙️ Empower young people as active agents in urban planning and decision-making
🗺️ Build competencies in GIS mapping, data visualization, and participatory design
💬 Foster youth-led neighborhood planning with local authorities and stakeholders
📚 Develop an online guidebook and digital archive to support evidence-based advocacy

Together, we’re setting the stage for a new generation of youth-led, community-driven cities - where voices are heard, ideas are visualized, and change starts locally. 💪🌱
